The Federal Government has announced a major housing project that will see 100 houses constructed in each of the 774 local government areas across Nigeria. This was made known by Yusuf Atta, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, during a political event in Kano State on Tuesday evening.
The event was held as Senate Deputy President Barau Jibrin welcomed hundreds of defectors from the New Nigeria People’s Party to the All Progressives Congress.
Atta explained, “This is a very nice program, where the President is going to build 100 houses in each of the local governments of the Great Nation. That is 77,400 houses.”
