The Presidency, through the Presidential Council on Economic and Financial Inclusion (PreCEFI), in partnership with WAWU Africa, is set to unveil Project ASHA, Access, Skills, Harnessing, and Autonomy, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering 200,000 women across the 36 states and the FCT through innovation, skills, and inclusion.
The unveiling will take place on October 23, 2025, at the Presidential Villa, FCT Abuja, by 10:00 AM.
Dr. Nurudeen Abubakar Zauro, Technical Adviser to the President on Economic and Financial Inclusion and Executive Secretary of PreCEFI, said Project ASHA represents “a new era of opportunity for Nigerian women through digital skills, green energy, entrepreneurship, and the WAWU Finance Lab.”
He emphasized that the program will promote women’s financial inclusion nationwide.
