The Funmike Empowerment Foundation (FEF) has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 Undergraduate Scholarship Program. The initiative provides full tuition, mentorship, learning materials, and internship opportunities for Nigerian students in federal and state academic institutions. The foundation said the scholarship aims to support students financially and academically while preparing them for leadership and innovation.
According to the organizers, “The Funmike Empowerment Foundation Scholarship is designed to empower students to reach their full potential and become changemakers in their communities.” The foundation also noted that the program covers both high school leavers (Jambites) and undergraduate students across various disciplines.
The FEF Scholarship offers full tuition coverage, mentorship, and access to student loan financing. It also includes learning materials and job search platform support for recipients. The program is open to all programs offered at recognized federal and state academic institutions in Nigeria.
For eligibility, Jambites must have a minimum JAMB score of 230 and plan to enroll in a recognized institution. They must also submit an essay of not more than 500 words and provide valid documents for verification. Undergraduate applicants are required to be currently enrolled in a federal or state institution with a minimum GPA of 3.5, alongside a 500-word essay and document verification.
Selection will be based on academic merit, eligibility, financial need, and the quality of the essay submitted. The foundation stated, “We are committed to identifying talented students who demonstrate strong academic potential and a genuine need for support.”
The scholarship is open to Nigerian citizens and will be awarded for study within Nigeria. While the number of awards has not been specified, the foundation confirmed that all successful applicants will enjoy benefits that include full tuition coverage, mentorship, learning materials, and internship placements to gain practical experience.
Applicants are advised to review the eligibility criteria carefully before applying. Interested candidates can visit the FEF Scholarship portal and complete the application form with all required documents, including academic transcripts, UTME results, and a personal statement.
