In his address, the Governor described the Expo as a beacon of hope for Katsina youth and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in modern economies. “Our young people are not only the future of Katsina, they are also the present drivers of our economy. What I have seen here today convinces me that the passion, innovation, and hard work of our youth will open new frontiers of prosperity for this state,” Governor Radda stated.

He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening SMEs through the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA). According to him, ongoing reforms are aimed at supporting youth and women-led businesses. “Our government is fully committed to ensuring that SMEs in Katsina State receive the support they need, not only during events like this but far beyond. Through KASEDA, we are providing access to grants, mentorship, modern training, and business development tools. Our goal is to see Katsina businesses grow into strong national brands, and eventually, global players,” he said.

Governor Radda assured participants that his government will continue to support post-event initiatives to ensure sustainability and long-term growth of businesses featured at the Expo.

The event also attracted dignitaries including the wife of the Governor, Hajiya Fatima Dikko Umar Radda; the Founder of the Parents and Children Foundation (PAC-F); the Director-General of KASEDA, Aisha Abdullahi; the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Hadiza Yar’adua, represented by Nasara Abubakar; and the Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Drugs & Medical Supplies Agency (DMSA), Pharm.
