Training has already begun at the new centre, following official accreditation by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). With this approval, KYCV Malumfashi is now recognized as a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) Training Provider. The facility offers certified vocational programmes that meet both national and international standards, creating new opportunities for young people to access practical knowledge and boost their employability.

Engr. Dr. Kabir Abdullahi Kofar Soro, Coordinator of the Katsina Youth Craft Village, expressed satisfaction with the rapid progress. “It’s a joy to see our young people in uniforms, learning with discipline and focus. I urge them to take this opportunity seriously,” he said.

He also introduced Engr. Aminu Hassan as the newly appointed Centre Manager for the KYCV Malumfashi Annex. Hassan is expected to oversee daily operations and ensure the successful delivery of the curriculum.

Representing former Senator Bello Mandiya, Engr. Muntari Sagir Malumfashi said, “I am proud to see the building donated by Senator Mandiya now transformed into a centre for youth empowerment.” He encouraged the students to remain focused and take their training seriously.

Engr. Tukur Hassan Tingilin, Managing Director of the Katsina State Water Board, delivered a goodwill message and pledged full support. “We are ready to mentor and partner with the youth to help them achieve long-term success,” he assured.

Chairman of Malumfashi Local Government Council, Hon. Muntari Abdullahi, thanked the Governor on behalf of the entire community. He described the KYCV project as a “generational investment” and prayed for divine blessings on Governor Radda’s leadership.
