This programme is designed to attract young engineering graduates who are ready to build a strong career in Nigeria’s growing energy sector. Greenville LNG is the pioneer Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and distribution company for domestic use in Nigeria. As the company continues to grow its presence across the country in both LNG and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), it is focused on developing the next generation of engineering professionals through structured training and hands-on experience.
The Greenville LNG Graduate Engineering Trainee Programme will provide successful candidates with professional skills development in plant operations and/or plant maintenance. Trainees will also gain general knowledge of the oil and gas industry and practical exposure to Nigeria’s fast-growing energy sector.

The role is based in Port Harcourt, specifically at the company’s LNG Plant in Rumuji.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong technical proficiency and sound engineering principles. Knowledge of engineering codes and standards is essential. Other required skills include adaptability, continuous learning, a growth mindset, strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, analytical skills, effective communication, logical thinking, and attention to detail.
To be eligible, candidates must hold a university bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in any of the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Gas Engineering, Gas Processing Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering. HND holders with a minimum of Upper Credit are also eligible to apply.
Applicants must be Nigerians by birth, physically and medically fit, and not older than 26 years as of February 2026. They must have completed the NYSC programme and be of good character, with no record of criminal conviction.
