HYPREP to Open Application for Skills Training Programmes March 30

The Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) has announced that applications for its skills training programmes will open on Monday, March 30, 2026.

The notice, shared via the project’s official Facebook handle on Saturday, indicated that the training initiative is part of efforts to equip beneficiaries with practical and technical skills across multiple sectors.

According to the announcement, the application window will run from March 30 to April 13, 2026.

The programme will cover areas such as animation and graphic design, software development, full stack development, shipping fabrication and blasting, GIS training and crowd mapping, cyber security, rope access, mud logging, and rigging.

HYPREP, under the Federal Ministry of Environment, stated that interested applicants are expected to submit their applications through its official website once the portal goes live.

The project added that the training is aimed at enhancing capacity and restoring livelihoods in impacted communities.

Further details on eligibility and selection criteria are expected to be made available upon the commencement of the application process.
