There is a CDCFIB recruitment breakdown currently circulating on Facebook, but the CDCFIB has not announced any such breakdown. The information is false and should be completely disregarded by applicants. The message being shared claims to contain “important information” for shortlisted applicants, but it is not important and did not come from the recruitment Board.
The misleading circular states, “Please take note of the official selection breakdown for final verification,” and goes on to list fake numbers such as “TOTAL SLOTS: 30,000 applicants,” with a breakdown showing Immigration Service 10,000, Civil Defence 10,000, Fire Service 5,000, and Correctional Service 5,000. It also adds a false allocation per LGA, saying Immigration will take 12 candidates per LGA, Civil Defence 11, Fire Service 6, and Correctional Service 6. It even claims, “Note: Remaining slots may be allocated for special consideration.”
All candidates are urged to ignore the information above. Meanwhile, applicants who are yet to take the exam should proceed, as the exams will end on Wednesday 19 November 2025. Any update on further recruitment stages will be released officially by the CDCFIB recruitment team.
