September 21, 2025 – There are lots of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) past questions and answers flying around on social media ranging from N1000 to N5000. The truth is that candidates do not need these.
Those vendors are just looking for money and have nothing valuable to offer to candidates. There is also no official past questions authorized by NCS. In fact, the federal government often frowns at it. During the Department of State Services (DSS) recruitment, a man was arrested for selling past questions as the agency did not authorize such. The chance is also that Nigeria Customs is looking for these sellers to prosecute them for selling fake past questions and answers.
The past question/answer PDF being circulated was generated using ChatGPT, which means candidates can also generate theirs without paying money to anyone claiming to have the legit one.
The problem with these past questions is that it is not the same official who set the previous one that may set the current recruitment questions. Hence, the questions and exam structure may not even be similar. It could be that the previous examiner has retired, been sacked or promoted to a different department. “So what is the chance that they will set the current Customs exam? Zero!” a source explained.
Besides, NCS has already started sending pre test CBT exam links to candidates. Before or on 22nd September, all successful candidates should have received theirs.
By all means necessary, candidates are urged to participate in this mock test because it will contain the past questions they are looking for. It will also help them understand the exam structure, duration and other important things that will guide them during the main CBT.
A second link will be sent to candidates, and this second link is the main Customs exam. Do not buy past questions and answers unless you feel like giving your money away. Moreover, out of 286,697 who will be sitting for this exam, only 3,927 will be employed.
So, candidates are warned not to waste money when the chance of getting the job is already very slim.
