Ilorin Innovation Hub has announced a free artificial intelligence training programme designed to equip 200 women with practical digital and AI skills. The initiative aims to help women explore how artificial intelligence can be used to create solutions for careers, businesses, data analysis, and innovation.
The programme, titled AI for Impact: Women’s Innovation Sprint and Showcase, will provide participants with guided training and practical exposure to AI tools. It is being organised by Her Tech Africa in partnership with Co-creation Hub Africa and Ilorin Innovation Hub as part of activities marking International Women’s Day 2026.
Participants will take part in a virtual build sprint where they will learn how to transform ideas into working digital solutions using modern AI tools and platforms. The training is designed to help women gain practical knowledge that can support career development, entrepreneurship, and innovation in today’s digital economy.
The programme will cover key areas including no-code web development using Framer, data analysis, digital marketing, career growth strategies, and product and innovation development. Through these sessions, participants will gain hands-on experience building projects and learning how AI tools can be applied to real-life opportunities.
The training will run virtually from 4th April to 9th April 2026 as a guided sprint programme for selected participants. After the virtual sessions, a physical showcase event will take place on 10th April 2026 at the Ilorin Innovation Hub.
During the showcase, participants will present the projects and solutions they developed during the sprint and share their innovations. A certificate will be issued on the day of the physical showcase to participants who remain committed throughout the programme.
