The Ilorin Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN), has launched the Entrepreneurship Training Programme (ETP 8.0) to support entrepreneurs in building structured and fundable businesses. The programme is designed to strengthen business capacity while providing opportunities for participants to access grants of up to ₦3 million.
Through 11 structured entrepreneurship courses, participants will gain practical knowledge in key areas such as business development, financial literacy, strategy, marketing, and operational systems. The training focuses on helping entrepreneurs develop sustainable business models, improve financial management, and strengthen their ability to compete in today’s business environment.
Beyond classroom learning, the programme is designed to prepare participants to compete, pitch their ideas, and position their businesses for funding opportunities. Entrepreneurs will also have the chance to showcase their ideas before potential supporters and investors.
Participants will benefit from a total of ₦100 million in grants, alongside ₦50 million in cash prizes and incentives. Individual grants will range between ₦500,000 and ₦3 million. The programme also includes in-person training sessions and the opportunity for selected entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas on the BizAid stage.
Entrepreneurs who run businesses in Kwara State are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to build their skills and grow their ventures.
