The ITR Fellowship is a fully virtual programme designed to empower young Africans who may lack access to structured personal development opportunities. It provides practical knowledge, mentorship, and real-world exposure to help participants grow into leaders and innovators.
This year’s cohort goes a step further by introducing an internship opportunity for selected fellows, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience and strengthen their professional portfolio.
About the ITR Fellowship 4.0
The programme is structured as an 8-week intensive journey that moves participants from confusion to clarity. Fellows are guided through leadership development, problem-solving, and community impact training.
Participants will not only learn but also apply their knowledge by working on meaningful projects that address real challenges within their communities.
By the end of the fellowship, selected participants will be positioned as emerging leaders ready to contribute to social change across Africa.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the programme, applicants must:
- Be an African (Nigerians are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Be between 18 and 30 years old
- Be able to communicate effectively in English
- Have little or no prior experience in community development
- Be willing to commit fully to the 8-week programme
- Maintain at least 85% attendance if selected
- Show strong motivation to drive social change and innovation
Young people from underrepresented communities or humble backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
