Under the patronage of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Kano State Information Technology Development Agency (KASITDA) has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Kano StartUp Weekend volunteer program.
The agency stated that this is a voluntary role but offers participants valuable experience, networking opportunities, and a certificate of recognition. A representative of KASITDA said, “We are calling on interested persons to join the team of facilitators for the Kano StartUp Weekend. This is a chance to be part of a historic event in Kano.”
Available roles include marketing and communications, graphics and design, technology support, logistics and event support, program and content support, as well as sponsorships and partnerships support.
Applications close on October 7, 2025. Interested individuals can apply through kasitda.ng/startup-weekend-volunteer-application.
