Kano State Government through the Ministry for Higher Education has released the list of 240 indigenes offered domestic postgraduate scholarships to study masters degree programmes within Nigeria. The announcement was made under the Kano State Domestic Scholarship scheme aimed at supporting young graduates in advancing their education.
The universities include Maryam Abatcha University Kano, Baze University Abuja, Skyline University Kano, Igbinedion University Okada, Crescent University Abeokuta, Bells University Ota, Al-Hikima University Ilorin, American University of Nigeria Yola and Alqalam University Katsina.
According to the Ministry, the beneficiaries were carefully selected and the full list has been pasted at each university for candidates to confirm their names.
The government noted that the scholarships cover tuition support to ease financial challenges faced by students.
