The Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amana Microfinance Bank to improve access to loans and business support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Katsina State.

Nigeria Startup News obtained the update from KASEDA’s social media post on Thursday.

According to the agency, the partnership is aimed at making the process of accessing financial support easier, faster and more transparent for business owners in the state.

KASEDA said the collaboration will help create a more structured system for loan disbursement and business support, especially for small and growing businesses that struggle to access funding.

Under the agreement, Amana Microfinance Bank will serve as a key financial partner in the disbursement process. The bank is expected to support efforts to expand financial inclusion and ensure more entrepreneurs can access the capital needed to grow their businesses.

“The strategic partnership is aimed at creating a more efficient, transparent, and accessible system for disbursing loans and business support,” the agency stated.

KASEDA also noted that the move represents another step towards improving how support reaches MSMEs in Katsina State.

“This marks a significant step towards improving how support reaches MSMEs, making it faster, more structured, and more impactful,” the agency added.

The agency further reaffirmed its commitment to building partnerships that connect businesses with the right opportunities and resources to support long-term economic growth in the state.
