The Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency (KASEDA) has called on all traders and business owners captured during the Corridor Mapping exercise to urgently complete their ongoing data verification on the official portal, as the agency intensifies efforts to update its business database across the state.
According to KASEDA, the verification exercise is currently active on corridor.kasedaktsg.com and is mandatory for all previously registered participants. The agency said the process is necessary to ensure that business records remain accurate, complete, and eligible for future government-backed support programmes targeted at traders and small enterprises in Katsina State.
In a fresh update issued to registered traders, KASEDA noted that several Local Government Areas are recording very low verification turnout, raising concerns that many eligible businesses may miss out on intervention opportunities if they fail to update their details before the exercise closes.
The LGAs with notably low verification rates include Bindawa (6%), Daura (3%), Funtua (8%), Ingawa (2.4%), Kankia (8.8%), Katsina (4.6%), Kurfi (4.4%), Mai’adua (8.6%), Malumfashi (6%), Mani (7.5%), Matazu (8.5%), and Sandamu (6.6%).
KASEDA urged traders in these areas, as well as across other parts of the state, to log in promptly and verify their business information, including personal records and account details, to avoid disqualification from future empowerment initiatives.
The agency reaffirmed that the Corridor Mapping database remains central to Katsina State’s strategy for identifying, supporting, and strengthening small businesses, adding that timely compliance will improve access to intervention programmes designed to boost local commerce and economic growth.
