The training is scheduled to take place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November 2025, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Muhammad Buhari Centre, beside the JAMB Office in Katsina.

The initiative is part of the council’s ongoing commitment to empower young people with modern digital skills that are essential for today’s technology-driven economy. The training focuses on Python programming, which serves as a foundation for data science, artificial intelligence, and software development.

According to the organisers, “The program is designed to provide practical knowledge and hands-on experience that will enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation among participants.” The training aims to help young people gain relevant IT skills that can open new opportunities in tech-related careers.
