The Katsina State Government has announced a scholarship opportunity for qualified candidates to pursue Master’s degree programmes in universities in the People’s Republic of China.
In a statement issued by the Katsina State Scholarship Board, the government invited interested applicants to apply for courses across key fields, including Mining and Mineral Engineering, Safety Science and Engineering, General Medicine, Sports Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, and Computer Science and Technology.
Other available programmes include Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Genetics, Paediatrics, Neurology, and Transportation Engineering.
According to the statement, applicants must meet specific requirements, including possession of an international passport, a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) degree in a relevant field, and an academic transcript. Additional requirements include a medical certificate, police character certificate, two recommendation letters, a one-minute video introduction, O’Level results, and a curriculum vitae.
The government fixed the application deadline for April 6, 2026.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications and supporting documents via WhatsApp through the designated contact +2348037446501 provided by the scholarship board.
The statement added that successful applicants would be contacted through their registered GSM numbers.
The Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Scholarship Board, Aminu Salisu Tsauri, signed the notice, urging eligible candidates to take advantage of the international study opportunity.
