September 15, 2025 – The Katsina Local Government Council has announced the list of successful applicants for its Computer Training Program on Cybersecurity and Python Programming.
According to the council, “a virtual screening exercise was conducted, during which non-indigenes, over-aged applicants, and those without a computer background were screened out due to the intensive nature of the program.”
All selected participants have been urged to check their names and confirm access to their registered email accounts as the one-week intensive training will commence soon. The council stated that the training will be conducted in batches and has advised applicants to stay updated through its official Facebook page for guidelines and detailed training schedules.
“The training will be conducted in batches, and upon successful completion, participants will undergo an aptitude test certified by a recognized United Kingdom body,” the council added. Successful candidates will receive an internationally recognised UK certificate.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to verify their status and know their batch allocations and training venues by visiting https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BEXJdYuM5/.
This initiative highlights the council’s commitment to youth empowerment, digital skills development, and creating better employment opportunities through cybersecurity and Python programming training.
