Katsina State Government, through the (KASEDA) and the (DSIA), presented ReNourish NG at the International Social Entrepreneurship Concentration Bootcamp in Mpigi, Uganda.
The bootcamp brought together eight finalist teams drawn from 12 countries across four continents. ReNourish NG, a locally developed therapeutic nutrition solution targeting child malnutrition in Northern Nigeria, emerged 2nd overall.
Speaking on the achievement, officials described it as “a strong validation of locally driven innovation solving real community problems.” They added that “ReNourish NG reflects Katsina’s commitment to scalable, youth-led solutions with measurable social impact.”
The outing positions Katsina as an active contributor in global social innovation conversations while spotlighting homegrown solutions to malnutrition challenges.
