Kebbi State Opens Intensive Computer Training Programme

The Kebbi State Government has opened applications for a six-month intensive computer training programme designed to help residents acquire essential digital skills for education, employment and modern workplace productivity.

Announcing the opportunity, the Kebbi State Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education said the initiative is aimed at strengthening digital literacy and improving access to technology-based knowledge across the state.

The ministry explained that the programme is part of efforts to close the digital gap and prepare citizens for opportunities in the modern economy.

“This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and equip citizens with essential 21st-century digital skills necessary for education, employment, and modern workplace productivity,” the ministry stated.

Applications are open to SSCE graduates and students who want to improve their computer knowledge, as well as civil servants seeking to enhance digital literacy and workplace efficiency.

The ministry also encouraged other interested professionals and community members to apply for the training.

The programme will be held at the Ultra Modern Secretariat Complex, New Secretariat, Gwadangaji Bypass, Birnin Kebbi.
