Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University, Ideato has announced a major recruitment drive, inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill a wide range of academic and non-teaching positions across its newly established programmes.

According to the notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the vacancies span several faculties, including Basic Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Law, Science, and Arts, Social and Management Sciences. The institution is seeking to engage professionals who can contribute to teaching, research, and institutional development as it expands its academic offerings.

Available academic positions range from Graduate Assistant to Professor, with salary structures aligned with the CONUASS scale. Each role comes with clearly defined requirements, including relevant academic qualifications, years of post-qualification experience, and evidence of scholarly publications, especially for senior positions. Candidates applying for senior academic roles such as Reader and Professor are expected to demonstrate leadership in research, strong publication records, and registration with relevant professional bodies.

In addition to academic roles, the university is also recruiting Technologists, Clinical Instructors, and Medical Laboratory Scientists to support specialised programmes such as Medicine, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Public Health, Environmental Health Science, and Entrepreneurship. Applicants for these roles must possess relevant degrees, while those in medical laboratory science must also hold current practising licences. Proficiency in computer use is considered an added advantage.

The recruitment also covers non-teaching support staff, with a vacancy for the position of Law Librarian. Candidates for this role are required to have both a degree in Library Science and an LL.B, alongside computer proficiency.
