Applications are now open for the 2026 Kwame Karikari Fact-Checking and OSINT Fellowship, organised by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) through DUBAWA and DAIDAC. This regional programme is designed to strengthen journalism across West Africa by equipping participants with practical skills in fact-checking, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and investigative reporting. It offers a unique opportunity to join a network of journalists committed to promoting truth and accountability.

The fellowship is open to full-time journalists based in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and The Gambia. Applicants should have experience in fact-checking or investigative reporting, along with a strong interest in OSINT and accountability journalism.

Selected fellows will receive advanced training, mentorship from experienced editors and investigators, and opportunities to publish impactful stories. They will also gain access to tools, datasets, and CJID’s professional network, alongside a monthly stipend to support their participation.
