The Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) has announced that its highly anticipated Computer-Based Test (CBT) for job applicants will take place on Monday, July 7th, 2025. The exam will run between 7:00am and 7:00pm, giving candidates the chance to take their test within this period.
In a statement released by the LGSC, officials urged applicants to follow the detailed guide strictly to avoid errors that could affect their chances. “We have simplified the process so that every candidate can access the test easily from any location,” the statement read.
To take the LGSC CBT test, candidates are advised to follow these simple steps:
First, visit the official LGSC website at https://www.lslgsc.com.ng and click on the Services tab. Candidates are to use trusted browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge to avoid technical issues.
Next, proceed to the CBT Portal by clicking the provided link. Once the page opens, find the Login Area, which may be titled “Candidate Login”, “User Login Portal” or simply “Login”.
Applicants should enter their unique ID using this format: Name/LGSC/State of Origin. For example, Emeka/LGSC/Osun. The name must match the one on the Acknowledgement Slip.
For the Password, candidates must use the last 10 digits of their registration number, excluding the prefix. For example, if the registration number is LSGSC/Ogun/0045770.8857040741, the password is 8857040741.
Once logged in, users will be directed to their CBT Dashboard. They are to carefully read all instructions before starting. The “Start Test”, “Attempt Test”, or “Begin Selection Test” button will appear. Clicking this starts the First Round of the Selection Test.

The LGSC has reminded all candidates to ensure a strong internet connection, use the recommended browser, and stay in a quiet place during the test. “The CBT portal link will be provided here on the test day,” officials confirmed.
