Lagos State Primary Health Care Board Debunks Recruitment Notice

July 17, 2025 – The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) has dismissed a recruitment message circulating on social media, warning Lagosians to ignore the false claim. The Board described the post as fake and a scam attempt by dishonest individuals aiming to deceive job seekers.

In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ibrahim Akinwunmi Mustafa, MNI, the Board clarified that no official recruitment exercise is ongoing.

He said, “The content of the circulated message, including application procedures, requirements, and submission details, did not originate from the Board and should be completely disregarded.”

He added, “We wish to categorically state that no official recruitment exercise has been announced or authorized by theLagos State Primary Health Care Board at this time.”

Dr. Mustafa advised healthcare professionals and the general public to seek information only from the official platforms of the Lagos State Government and the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board.

“Members of the public, especially healthcare professionals seeking employment, are hereby advised to rely solely on official communication channels of the Lagos State Government and the LSPHCB for verified information regarding recruitment and other official matters.”

“The information contained in the message, including application procedures, requirements, and submission details did not originate from the Board and should be disregarded.”

He added, “The LSPHCB remains firmly committed to transparency, due process, and professionalism in all its operations.”

For accurate updates on job vacancies, job application procedures, and healthcare job alerts, the public is urged to use the Board’s official and verified communication channels.

The Permanent Secretary further warned that relying on unverified online recruitment news can expose people to financial fraud.

He urged applicants to confirm all employment opportunities using legitimate channels provided by the Lagos State Government.
