Lagos to Train 30,000 Youth in Job Skills with Free Support

Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), in partnership with Jobberman, Emmviron, and Talentta, has announced a major training initiative that will empower 30,000 young people across Lagos.

According to the organisers, the programme will officially begin on September 16th, 2025, and is open to residents of Shomolu, Ikorodu, Alimosho, Surulere, Lagos Mainland, Ikeja, and Bariga.

“This is your opportunity to gain hands-on skills, earn certification, and access job placement and loans to start your business,” the partners stated.

The initiative will provide free training, access to loans of up to N5 million through LSETF, job placements, certificates of completion, ongoing support, and a free 2-course meal. The organisers noted that the programme is for young people aged 18 to 35, with a focus on females.
