The Modupe & Folorunso Alakija Medical Research and Training Hospital (MOFAMRTH), Osun State University, Osogbo, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill several clinical and non-clinical positions in the hospital.
Applications are open for Consultants in the following specialties: Anesthesia; Orthopedic and Traumatology; Anatomic and Molecular Pathology; Pediatrics; Hematology and Blood Transfusion; Preventive Dentistry; Radiodiagnosis; Restorative Dentistry; Internal Medicine (Cardiology, Gastrointestinal Tract, Pulmonary, Nephrology, Neurology and Endocrinology); Surgery; Obstetrics and Gynecology; Dermatology; Ophthalmology; Oncology; Medical Physics (Radiophysicist); Radiotherapy; and Radiology. Applicants must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. Evidence of completion of NYSC is mandatory. Candidates must also have passed Part II of either the West African or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria examination, or its equivalent.
Medical Officer positions are available in Emergency Medicine (Adult and Children), Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics, Medical Microbiology and Parasitology, Surgery, Clinical Pathology, and Dental Services. Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution, be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, hold a current practicing license, and present a National Youth Service Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
The hospital also seeks a Pharmacist. Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) degree from a recognized university, have completed a one-year internship in an approved institution, and be duly registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria with a current practicing license. NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required. The salary is CONHESS 09 (₦2,388,908 – ₦3,238,831) per annum, plus allowances approved by the University Governing Council.
A Medical Laboratory Scientist is required. Candidates must hold at least a Second Class Lower Division or Credit grade Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, have completed a one-year internship, and be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria with a valid license. NYSC certificate is mandatory. Salary is CONHESS 09 with the same range and allowances.
A Radiographer with a Bachelor’s degree in Radiography (B.RAD), minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Credit grade, and completion of a one-year internship is required. Registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria and NYSC certificate are mandatory. Salary is CONHESS 09.
A Physiotherapist must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy), minimum Second Class Lower Division or Credit grade, completed internship, and current license from the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Registration Board of Nigeria. NYSC certificate is required. Salary is CONHESS 09.
The hospital also requires a Senior Nursing Officer with a B.NSc degree, minimum Second Class Lower Division or Credit grade, one-year post-graduate internship, and current license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. NYSC certificate is mandatory. Salary is CONHESS 09.
Other available positions include Dental Nursing Officer II, Dental Technologist, Renal Technologist, Nursing Officer II, Dialysis Nursing Officer II, Health Information Management Technologist II, and Assistant Anaesthetic Technologist/Technician. Each role has specific qualification requirements, professional registration, and NYSC certification where applicable. Salaries range from CONHESS 05 to CONHESS 07, with approved allowances.
