The Mustapha Abdullahi Energy Leadership Fellowship 2026 is now open for applications. This initiative of the APC National Youth Wing is designed to identify and support young Nigerians with strong potential in the energy sector.
The fellowship is a fully funded residential programme that combines technical knowledge, policy understanding, and practical exposure. It is structured to prepare participants for leadership roles in clean energy development across Nigeria and beyond.
Programme Overview
The fellowship delivers a high-level curriculum focused on engineering, energy policy, and climate finance. Participants will be trained by experienced industry professionals and policymakers.
In addition to classroom learning, fellows will take part in field inspections and a national crisis simulation. These activities are designed to test decision-making, leadership ability, and real-world problem-solving skills.
At the end of the programme, participants will present innovative projects. The best ideas will receive funding support to move from concept to execution.
