The National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) has raised alarm over a purported invitation for a technical and practical screening exercise for recruitment into the Commission, allegedly scheduled to hold at Kainji Hydro Power Station, New Bussa, Niger State. The Commission described the information as “false, misleading, and baseless,” noting that it was designed to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
N-HYPPADEC stated that “the said invitation did not emanate from the Commission,” adding that there is currently no recruitment exercise ongoing.
It urged the general public to disregard the invitation and to “always verify information through official N-HYPPADEC channels” to avoid falling victim to fraudsters. The Commission advised vigilance across all communities.
