The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), in collaboration with the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and other international partners, has announced plans to host a high-level Business and Investment Forum in Guangzhou, aimed at connecting Nigerian businesses with global opportunities.
The forum, scheduled to hold from April 28 to April 30, 2026, is part of efforts to deepen trade ties between Nigeria and China, as well as position Nigerian enterprises to benefit from China’s vast and growing economic landscape.
China, which has evolved into a global economic powerhouse over the decades, continues to attract investors and businesses seeking expansion, innovation, and large-scale partnerships.
According to the organisers, the event will feature Business-to-Business meetings, providing participants with the opportunity to showcase investment-ready projects to a wide network of Chinese investors, manufacturers, and top-level business executives.
The forum is being organised in partnership with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Window of Canton, further highlighting its strategic importance in fostering international collaboration.
Participants are expected to engage directly with policymakers and industry leaders, with discussions centred on trade expansion, industrial development, and investment opportunities across key sectors.
The organisers noted that the initiative is designed not only to strengthen bilateral relations but also to enhance the capacity of Nigerian businesses to compete globally by leveraging China’s industrial and technological advantages.
