NAHCON Announces N8.5m for 2026 Hajj Fare Deposit

August 20, 2025 – The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced the deposit amount for the 2026 Hajj fare.

In a statement, NAHCON confirmed that the required deposit is N8,500,000 (Eight Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira). According to the commission, intending pilgrims are advised to make early payments through approved channels.

Payment can be made via State Pilgrims Welfare Boards, Accredited Hajj Tour Operators, or the Hajj Savings Scheme (HSS) through accredited banks.

The accredited banks listed by NAHCON include:
i. Jaiz Bank
ii. TAJBank
iii. The Alternative Bank
iv. Lotus Bank.

NAHCON urged pilgrims to comply promptly.
