Nearly 3,000 Registered for NextGen Innovation Challenge 2025

The National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) has officially closed registration for the NextGen Innovation Challenge 2025, recording close to 3,000 innovative submissions from across Nigeria. This national competition, focused on technology innovation and startup development, received overwhelming participation from all geopolitical zones.

Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, Director General and CEO of NBTI, stated, “This is a remarkable testament to the creativity, talent, and drive of our nation’s innovators.”

According to official data, the North West zone led with 34.3% of total entries. North Central followed with 24.8%, and the North East contributed 17.1%. In the South, South West submitted 14.3%, South South recorded 5.2%, while South East brought in 4.4%.

Dr. Raji added, “We sincerely thank every participant, partner, and supporter for your incredible contributions.”
