Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced a re-scheduled Pre-Test for shortlisted Superintendent Cadre applicants after earlier technical issues disrupted the process. The pre-test, which was previously delayed due to server challenges on the CBT exam portal, has now been reorganized to ensure smooth participation.

According to NCS, “Due to earlier challenges, the Pre-Test has been re-scheduled for shortlisted Superintendent Cadre applicants who received the earlier email. Candidates have been grouped into four batches (A, B, C & D).”

Nigeriastartupact had earlier reported that the portal experienced technical server issues which caused delays in the initial test exercise.

Applicants from the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres are not included in this phase and will be contacted later. The Service stressed that, “All shortlisted Superintendent Cadre candidates should use their NIN to check their Batch, Date, and Time via https://updates.customs.gov.ng.”

Candidates were further warned that strict compliance with the assigned batch and time is mandatory, and failure to comply will lead to disqualification.

NCS also explained that, “The Pre-Test does not affect your recruitment outcome, it is only meant to help candidates familiarize themselves with the system and aid proper planning of the exercise.”

The recruitment team confirmed that the pre-test link remains the same as earlier communicated.
