Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Announces 2025/2026 ND/HND Admission

August 10, 2025 – The Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS), located at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, has announced the commencement of its admission process for the ND/HND Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The admission is open to qualified military, paramilitary personnel, and civilians, with the college stressing that entry will be strictly through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to the statement issued by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force, “NAFCONS invites applications from qualified military, paramilitary personnel, and civilians for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.”

The programme will run for four years. Admission requirements for applicants are as follows:
1. Applicants must possess minimum of 5-Credits in their O-level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry in not more than two sittings.
2. Applicants must be between the ages of 16-26 years by 30 September, 2025.
3. Applicants must be a Nigerian by birth.
4. Applicants must have sat for year 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 180 points.
5. Applicants must have chosen NAFCONS as first choice.
6. Subject combination for UTME and Post-UTME are: Use of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Any applicants who did not sit for the above subjects combination in UTME need not apply.

How to apply:

Interested candidates are to visit the NAFCONS website at www.nafcons.edu.ng to download the application form.

For the Post-UTME screening, the college clarified that it is not selling forms but charges a non-refundable logistics fee of N5,000, payable in cash at the College Finance Office.

Completed application forms must be submitted with photocopies of O-level results, secondary school testimonial, birth certificate, certificate of state or local government of origin, 2025 UTME result, and four passport photographs.

The Post-UTME screening exercise will be held from 8 to 12 September 2025 at the Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences, Air Force Base Kaduna.

The statement warned, “The college has not authorized anyone directly or indirectly to act as admission agent. Additionally, the admission forms are not sold online. Anyone dealing with agents apart from the above contacts will be doing so at his or her own risk.”
