The Nigerian Army has announced plans to open its recruitment portal for the 91 Regular Recruits Intake for trades and non-tradesmen and women.
The Army disclosed that the online application portal will open on March 30, 2026, and remain accessible until May 17, 2026, for interested and qualified candidates across the country.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Army said the exercise is aimed at enlisting eligible Nigerians into its ranks as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen manpower and enhance national security.
“The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that the online registration for 91 Regular Recruits Intake Exercise for trades and non-tradesmen and women will commence from March 30 to May 17, 2026,” the statement read.
It noted that the recruitment process would be conducted online, urging applicants to complete their registration within the stipulated period through the official recruitment portal.
The Army further advised candidates to ensure they meet all requirements before applying, adding that only qualified individuals would be shortlisted for subsequent screening stages.
It emphasised that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and warned prospective applicants against falling victim to fraudsters or paying money to any individual or group.
According to the statement, interested candidates can obtain more information and submit their applications via the official website: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng once the portal becomes active.
The Army also reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, noting that shortlisted candidates would be invited for screening at designated centres in their respective states.
Prospective applicants have been encouraged to prepare necessary documents ahead of the portal opening to avoid last-minute issues during registration.
