The Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers) has announced an international trip to the Benin Republic from October 10th to 13th, 2025.
The institution stated, “This trip is designed to expose members to international engineering practices and culture.”
Departure will take place from Lagos, and the total cost is 150,000 naira, which covers transport, lodging, and logistics.
Trip highlights include:
i. Visits to top engineering companies including Benin Textile Firm and DFID
ii. Tour of Songhai Farm and the Historic Slave Coast
iii. Specialised sessions with university students and professional engineering bodies
Engineers and young professionals are encouraged to apply. The organisers emphasized, “It’s an opportunity to expand professional networks and gain global exposure.”
