Nasarawa and Niger States have officially announced the opening of applications for Ninatech Plus, a new digital skills training program designed to equip young people with practical technology knowledge. According to the organizers, “Ninatech Plus is a joint digital skills development initiative of Nasarawa and Niger States, offering skill-level based training with industry certifications.”
The program provides training across three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced, with participants gaining access to certifications from Cisco Networking Academy and the International Cybersecurity Academy. These globally recognized certificates are aimed at helping young people build strong career paths in areas like cybersecurity, data analytics and cloud computing.
Officials explained that the training is fully hands-on, stating that it includes “practical, project-based learning with real-world applications and industry-standard tools.” Courses range from Intro to Cybersecurity, Digital Basics and Python at the beginner stage to CCNA, JavaScript and Linux at the intermediate stage. Advanced learners can study CCNP, Ethical Hacking, Data Science and IoT.
The training will run for 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the selected level. With limited slots available, applicants are encouraged to apply early at nasitdea.na.gov.ng/ninatech before the December 15, 2025 deadline.
