June 13, 2025 – The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has released a public notice stating that it is not currently recruiting for any position in financial services or any other department. This comes amid growing concerns over fake job advertisements circulating online.
In a statement signed by the management of NIPOST, the agency warned Nigerians to “disregard any advertisement, message, or solicitation claiming to offer employment opportunities with NIPOST through unofficial or unauthorized means.”
The agency made it clear that any legitimate job vacancies, when available, will be announced only through official government-approved channels. According to NIPOST, “all recruitment processes will be carried out strictly in accordance with due public service procedures.”
This notice is especially important for young job seekers searching for federal government jobs in Nigeria. Falling for such scams could result in financial loss or identity theft.
