June 14, 2025 – As part of Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) launched the #DemocracyDashQuiz, an engaging 3-day civic challenge to help citizens learn more about government policies, national programmes, and civic responsibility.
According to NOA, the response was “phenomenal.”
A total of 24,892 Nigerians participated via the Hackathon platform, while another 15,710 joined through the Mobiliser platform.
Participants were tested on 30 key questions, and multiple entries recorded a perfect score of 30 out of 30, showing what NOA described as “exceptional knowledge and awareness.” However, the lowest recorded score, 0/30, came from the Mobiliser platform, an outcome NOA says “reminds us of the continued need for targeted awareness efforts.”
