The National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS), led by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (@OSSAPTVEEng), has launched a new skills empowerment program across Nigeria.
The initiative targets young Nigerians with training in high-demand fields like web development, cyber security, and solar installations. Beneficiaries will also receive gadgets such as laptops and other tech devices to support their learning and future careers.
“This program is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s goal to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2030,” officials stated. The NPRGS initiative focuses on digital skills development and technical empowerment to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment.
