June 14, 2025 – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will soon reopen its recruitment portal, following a new signal from the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). Today, June 14, 2025, the Board posted a video on its official Facebook page featuring NSCDC officers on parade with the caption “CDCFIB CAREER | NSCDC,” pointing to the upcoming NSCDC 2025 recruitment.
Nigeriastartupact.ng can confirm that the official recruitment portal, https://cdcfib.career, is currently under development and will be opened soon. A CDCFIB source hinted, “This year in CDCFIB Career, the Board is exploring possibilities of recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.”
The expected timeline for the portal opening is shortly after the Passing Out Parade of the Basic Recruit Course 240/2025 and the 30th Basic Superintendent Course of the Nigerian Correctional Service, scheduled for June 26 and 27, 2025, at both correctional training schools.
Applicants have been urged to stay alert but ignore unofficial information circulating online. “Do not fall for fake news,” the Board warned. “We will announce the recruitment officially through our verified channels.”
