OPay Microfinance Bank has begun an urgent nationwide recruitment exercise aimed at hiring qualified professionals for several positions across Nigeria.
The recruitment drive is part of the bank’s ongoing expansion and efforts to strengthen its workforce across key operational areas. Interested and qualified candidates are being invited to apply for various roles within the organisation.
According to information released by the bank, the available positions include Field Verification Officers, Field Sales Officers, Field Collection Officers, and several Operations roles. The recruitment targets individuals who are motivated, experienced, and ready to work in Nigeria’s fast-growing fintech and microfinance banking sector.
A statement from the bank noted that the recruitment offers “an excellent opportunity for professionals who are looking to advance their careers in the fintech and microfinance banking sectors.”
OPay Microfinance Bank stated that candidates with experience in financial technology, microfinance banking, or related industries are particularly encouraged to submit applications. The bank explained that the roles require individuals who can work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining strong communication and customer engagement skills.
Applicants are expected to possess at least an OND, HND, or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised institution.
The bank also outlined some of the responsibilities attached to the roles. Field Verification Officers will be responsible for verifying client information and conducting on-site assessments as part of the bank’s operational processes.
Field Sales Officers will focus on promoting OPay’s products and services, building relationships with customers, and meeting assigned sales targets. Meanwhile, Field Collection Officers will manage payment collections and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
Operations staff will provide support for internal banking processes and help ensure smooth workflow across different departments within the organisation.
