Applications are now open for the PalmPay Purple Woman 3.0 training programme, an initiative designed to help women move from interest to employable digital skills. This edition goes beyond a regular masterclass, offering structured learning and practical exposure for women who want to build careers in tech and related fields.
With the theme “Empowered Women Empower the World,” Purple Woman 3.0 will run from Thursday to Saturday, March 5–7, 2026. The first two days, March 5 and 6, will feature intensive online training sessions, while the third day, March 7, will be a physical masterclass and networking event in Lagos. The programme is fully sponsored by PalmPay, and selected participants will not pay any training fees.
Participation does not automatically guarantee employment. However, outstanding participants may be considered for internship placements or future opportunities, depending on their performance and business needs.
Applicants can choose from several tracks, including Software Engineering (Frontend, Backend, and Testing), UI/UX Design, Digital Marketing and Data Analysis, Project Management, and Talent Development. The training is structured to support early-career professionals and women transitioning into tech. While basic knowledge in any of the tracks is an advantage, the programme is tailored to help participants build practical, job-ready skills.
To be eligible, applicants must have completed NYSC or possess an official exemption certificate. Purple Woman 3.0 is open to women who meet the eligibility criteria and are ready to commit fully to the three-day programme.
Only 100 women will be shortlisted to participate in Purple Woman 3.0, and 10 finalists will be selected at the end of the programme. All successful applicants will receive a confirmation email. Participants who complete the training will also receive a certificate of participation.
