September 1, 2025 – The Professor Isa Ali Pantami Foundation has commenced the first batch training of 10,000 youths and women on phone repair and introduction to artificial intelligence at the Alwalidayn Foundation, opposite Pantami Stadium in Gombe State.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, organizers explained that the initiative is aimed at equipping participants with digital skills that will help them become self-reliant and create job opportunities in their communities. “Fully equipped and globally certified trainers and facilitators from within and outside Gombe State will drive the training, giving beneficiaries up to date knowledge of phone repair and artificial intelligence,” a representative of the foundation stated.

The training program will provide participants with both certificates and working tools at the end of the session. This will enable them to not only practice their newly acquired skills but also establish small businesses and become employers of labour.
