Plus Incubation Hub has launched the Plus Factor Grant Program, offering up to N1 million in non-dilutive funding to support promising entrepreneurs across Africa.

The high-impact, merit-based initiative is designed to identify, nurture, and fund idea-stage, early-stage, and growth-stage founders who are building scalable and market-relevant businesses. The programme specifically targets entrepreneurs facing real challenges such as limited access to finance, weak market linkages, and insufficient innovation support.

According to the organisers, the programme is open to entrepreneurs across industries and is built on principles of transparency, fairness, and measurable impact.

Commenting on the launch, the Program Lead, Eunice Alabi, said the initiative goes beyond financial support.

“The Plus Factor Grant Program is not just about funding — it is about backing entrepreneurs with the clarity, readiness, and support required to build sustainable businesses. We are intentionally combining finance, innovation, and market access to create real, measurable impact. We are looking for entrepreneurs with clarity, courage, and commitment — founders who are ready to turn potential into performance,” she stated.

The programme is open to entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. To qualify, applicants must be a founder or co-founder of a business or startup, have an operational business or a validated business idea, demonstrate clear commitment to growth and scalability, and be available to fully participate in all programme activities. Applicants are also required to submit a complete application before the deadline.

Applications will undergo a three-stage evaluation process, including Eligibility and Alignment Screening, Business, Market and Innovation Assessment, and Final Pitch and Panel Evaluation.

Winners will receive non-dilutive grant funding, with N1 million awarded to the first position. The second and third positions will receive N500,000 and N250,000 respectively, while the fourth and fifth positions will receive N150,000 and N100,000.

Beyond funding, selected beneficiaries will also benefit from business mentorship and pitch coaching, market access and visibility opportunities, innovation and growth readiness support, as well as investment readiness training.
