The Public and Private Development Centre (PPDC) has invited Nigerians to apply as technical election observers for the 2027 General Elections.

The opportunity is open to non-partisan applicants in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), across 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and live in the LGA where they intend to observe. They must demonstrate impartiality, integrity and commitment to credible elections.
Candidates should possess observation, communication and reporting skills, and be comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools.
They must be available for training and deployment during the election period. Applicants with partisan campaign roles that could compromise neutrality are not eligible.
Selected observers will monitor electoral procedures, document incidents, assess voter participation and inclusion, and report on electoral processes.
