August 6, 2025 – The Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation and Tinubu Support Group have announced that the registration process for the 2025 bursary scheme is now running smoothly. According to the organisers, all technical glitches that occurred between Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2, have been resolved, allowing applicants to register without difficulty.

In a statement issued by the DSSK Media Team, it was noted that applicants who registered during the affected dates but did not receive a confirmation link via email or encountered issues should revisit the portal and re-register to ensure their submissions are successful.

“As of 6:00 am today, we have received over 500 applications today and a total of 3,061 confirmed applications,” the statement said. Organisers encouraged eligible students to register between now and August 31, 2025, warning that no applications will be accepted after the deadline.

The bursary, worth Three Hundred Million Naira (N300,000,000), will benefit 3,000 indigenes of Kogi State currently studying in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria. Interested candidates can apply through the official website at https://www.sundaykarimi.org.

Senator Sunday Steve Karimi emphasised his dedication to education and the welfare of students in Kogi State, describing the bursary as part of his ongoing commitment to supporting academic growth. “We will ensure that the selection process is fair, transparent, and efficient for all applicants,” he assured.

The initiative is expected to ease the financial burden on many students and provide support for their academic pursuits, reflecting the Senator’s consistent focus on human capital development in the state.
