Rivers State Schedules August 2025 Pensioners Re-Verification Exercise

August 10, 2025 – The Rivers State Government has announced that a re-verification exercise will be conducted for all pensioners under its payroll. According to a statement issued by the Office of the Head of Service, the Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has given approval for the exercise to begin this month.

“All pensioners are expected to come with their bank BVN with picture, a passport photograph, and their pension ID card,” the statement read. The exercise has been scheduled as follows:

A. Thursday, 14th August, 2025

i. Pensioners banking with Access Bank, Eco Bank and First Bank
Venue: The Ministry of Justice Conf. Hall, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.

ii. Those Banking with FCMB Bank
Venue: Main Bowl, Civic Centre, Port Harcourt.

B. Friday, 15th August, 2025

i. Pensioners banking with Fidelity Bank, Globus Bank and GTB
Venue: The Ministry of Justice Conf. Hall, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.

ii. Those with Polaris Bank Venue: Main Bowl, Civic Centre, Port Harcourt.

C. Saturday, 16th August, 2025

i. Pensioners banking with Heritage Bank, Keystone Bank, Mayfresh Bank, Premium Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Sterling Bank, Suntrust Bank and Titan Trust Bank
Venue: The Ministry of Justice Conf. Hall, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.

ii. Those with UBA Bank Venue: Main Bowl, Civic Centre, Port Harcourt.

D. Monday, 18th August, 2025

i. Those banking with Unity Bank
Venue: The Ministry of Justice Conf. Hall, State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.

ii. Union Bank
Venue: Main Bowl, Civic Centre, Port Harcourt.

E. Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th August, 2025

i. Pensioners banking with Zenith Bank and those resident in Bonny
Venue: The Ministry of Justice Conf. Hall, State Secretariat Complex, The Main Bowl, Civic Centre, Port Harcourt. Bonny Local Government Area Council Headquarters.

The Acting Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs) Inyingi S. I. Brown, signed the announcement.
