Seplat Energy has announced the commencement of its 2026 “Eye Can See” programme in Imo State, aimed at providing free eye care services to residents.
The company disclosed in a post shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday that the programme would run from March 24 to April 3, 2026.
According to Seplat Energy, the initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to improving health and well-being in its host communities.

It noted that beneficiaries would receive free vision screenings, corrective reading glasses, and cataract surgeries.
Seplat Energy added that the intervention is designed to restore sight and improve the quality of life for individuals of all ages.
The company also highlighted the importance of regular eye checks and early medical attention, urging residents to seek help when experiencing symptoms such as blurry vision, headaches, red eyes, or sudden loss of sight.
It further advised the public to adopt healthy eye care habits, including avoiding sharp objects near the eyes, maintaining proper lighting while reading, and keeping a safe distance from television screens.
Seplat reiterated its commitment to creating lasting impact in its host communities through health-focused interventions.
