The FG Skills to Wealth (S2W) program is currently training participants across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones as reported by multiple sources. Officials say the initiative is designed to provide financial empowerment and create opportunities for young people to build sustainable businesses.

After six months of training, successful graduates will be eligible for low-interest credit facilities ranging from ₦300,000 to ₦400,000. This will help them start businesses, purchase equipment, or expand their vocational practice.

The S2W initiative aims to arm young Nigerians with practical skill sets that enable them to participate productively in the economy.

As part of the pilot phase, 27 participants per state were selected to undergo training in agriculture, automobile technology, and renewable energy.

Program coordinators explained that the plan targets 1.5 million youth by 2027, with a wider ambition to reach 10 million beneficiaries within one year, making it one of the largest youth empowerment schemes in the country.
